The legislative leader of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has charged previous Niger lead representative, Babangida Aliyu, of being a "mole" in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In April, Aliyu had said lead representatives in the north neutralized previous President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 political race since he reneged on their deal to avoid looking for another term.
Talking on Monday at the public authority house in Port Harcourt, Rivers state capital, Wike said it is lamentable the PDP actually permits the previous Niger lead representative to stay an individual from its most elevated dynamic body after he openly confessed to neutralizing Jonathan.
"Aliyu Babangida is a mole in PDP. These are individuals who get data and in the evening, they go to the decision party (APC) and give them the data," Wike said.
"A similar Aliyu, in 2017, was one of the individuals who went against Secondus to be administrator of the gathering. He possibly went ahead board at the withering minutes when he realized Secondus was drifting to triumph.
"In 2015, what befell him? He demanded his own kid will be the lead representative. In 2019, he demanded again and PDP lost. Who is the despot? Up till now, the motivation behind why the state (Niger) congress can't occur is on the grounds that he needs to direct who will be the director of the gathering.
"We have been buckling down in Rivers state to see we don't have the decision APC in Rivers state. Inquire as to whether he can do likewise in Niger state. On the off chance that there is a political race today, would he be able to make PDP win in Niger state? As I address you, no state congress has been held in Niger state. It is a direct result of his authoritarian propensity.
"In the event that Aliyu says he will leave PDP today, no one will shake; no one will even trouble. However, I say I will leave PDP tomorrow, you will know its outcomes."
