Akarauwa Eke was arrested by the Imo State Police Attorney's Office for Infectious Disease of his 10-year-old daughter, who is a primary three pupil at Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Ihiagwa, and lived with her father and brothers since her mother died in 2013.
His arrest comes after the victim refused to follow him home after picking her up at school and the investigation revealed that a man obviously infects his daughter at home.
According to Punch, two NGOs Virgin Heart Foundation and Women of Divine Destiny Initiatives, an organization owned by the wife of the governor of the state, are determined to bring the man to justice.
