Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, on Sunday, actually drove an activity to crush a speculated hard medication selling posse in Calabar.
It was assembled that the strike, which surprised the speculated drug merchants, occurred at the mainstream Watt Market in Calabar.
Toward the finish of the attack, 14 suspects were captured with different illegal substances suspected to be hard medications.
Insights regarding the assault were problematic at the hour of this report. Nonetheless, the state Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo affirmed the strike to our journalist.
As indicated by her, "The CP followed a portion of our men to capture a few young men where they were selling drugs in an alcove at Watt Market.
"Fourteen of them were captured with drugs."
