Xiaomi has just launched the new leading Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro + smartphones. Smartphones have impressive specifications and good battery life.

The Trio K40 shares an AMOLED display that offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, DCI-P3, HDR10 + colour gamut, 8192 dimming levels and an ultra-small 2.76 mm hole with a 20MP camera.

The K40 runs the Snapdragon 870 SoC, and the Pro models the Snapdragon 888 5nm SoC, which supports up to 12GB of RAM.

Looking at the cameras, the K40 Pro + has a 108 MP sensor in its main camera, the Pro receives a 64 MP sensor, and the K40 has a 48 MP sensor. Although the 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro lens of 50 mm is the same.

All three models are powered by 4520mAh, which charges up to 33W via USB-C using standard protocols - USB Power Delivery 3.0 and QuickCharge 3.0+.

The Redmi K40 starts at 1999 yuan (US$ 309) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2199 yuan (US$ 340), 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 2499 yuan (US$ 387) and the top-end 12GB RAM with 256GB storage costs 2,699 yuan (US$ 418).

The Redmi K40 Pro starts at 2799 yuan (US$ 433) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 2999 yuan (US$ 646) and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 3299 yuan (US$ 511). The K40 and K40 Pro are available for order starting today and go on sale from March 4th in China.

The K40 Pro+ with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs 3699 yuan (US$ 572) and will be available by the end of March.
