The Huawei Watch GT 2e is officially launched in China. The device was previously introduced in Europe when the P40 series was introduced. According to the company, the new version is intended for Generation Z with the letter "e" for energy.

In terms of specifications, the Watch GT 2e has a circular 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 454 x 454 pixels. Designed in metallic and plastic housing, it is available in stainless steel and black-coated stainless steel. It weighs 43 grams without straps. As for the straps, the Watch GT 2e is available with black fluoride elastomer belts, red and black TPUs, green and black TPUs, and white fluorinated elastomers.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e runs on Android 4.4+ or iOS 9.0+ and contains a battery that can last up to 14 days with a single charge. It can be charged via the connector of the magnetic charging array using an integrated proprietary charging stand. It is waterproof up to 5ATM and has sensors such as gyroscope with acceleration sensor, geomagnetism, optical heart rate, ambient light, atmospheric pressure, capacitive for activity monitoring.

The Watch GT 2e supports a total of 100 fitness tracking mode, including 15 professional workout modes and 85 customized workout modes. It also features an SpO2 sensor to monitor oxygen levels in the blood. The watch features a 4GB internal storage that is capable of storing a good number of music.

As for the price, those in China can get the Huawei Watch GT 2e for 1288 yuan, which is around $182. That same device is sold in Europe with a price tag of €199 which is around $219.
