Itel has unveiled its latest low-budget "A-Series" smartphone, called the Itel A55, with pricing details. The phone comes as a successor to the Itel A33 and its features are similar. In terms of specifications, the smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS display and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. It has an 18: 9 aspect ratio and about 73.2% of the body screen. It has a body size of 158.7 x 74 x 9.3 mm, weighing 133 grams.

The Itel A55 smartphone is designed with a plastic case and comes in Black, Red and Gold colors, and the phone is powered by a UniSoC Spreadtrum SC7731E (32 nm) processor, along with 1GB of RAM. It has an internal memory of 16 GB and can be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro-SD card. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie, Go Edition) operating system and has an ARM Mali T820 MP1 GPU.
