Super Eagles striker Samuel Kalu finally talked about his failure as a form of collapsing the day before the start of the African Cup of Nations' CAF campaign in Egypt.
Bordeaux fell as he tried to curl up during training in Alexandria and was immediately taken to hospital.
Speculations were the legion at the time of a heart attack and would be excluded from the tournament.
But after several medical tests, Kalu fell for dehydration and gave the green light to the tournament.
“I now take a lot of water and other related fluids.
“It is what the doctor requires of me and I must abide by it.
“I am very okay now and I have played a game to clarify that,” Kalu told Goal.
Kalu has now made two appearances at the AFCON.
