Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has urged Paul Pogba to use his brain if he wants to achieve success at the club.
Scholes made this known in an interview with beIN Sports on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Pogba made a sensational return from Juventus in 2016 and has struggled to replicate the kind of form that saw United splash then-world record 89 million pounds to bring him back.
However, Pogba impressed towards the end of the 2017/2018 season and also helped France win the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
But Scholes believes that to achieve success at club level, Pogba must be more consistent and use his brain more.

He said, “Paul needs to find a consistency, I think.
“You look at his game, he can be brilliant one week and not so good the next week.
“He seems to be a player which you get a performance out of every three to four games. If you’re going to win leagues, that’s not enough, it’s just not enough.
“He needs to become that commanding player he was at Juventus – he was part of a set structure at Juventus, he knew every week which position he was going to play, who he was going to play with, and I don’t think that has helped him at United.
“I’d be amazed if the same team has been named twice in a row, or the same formation. There doesn’t seem to be a set way of where it’s going and that could possibly work against him.”
Scholes had on two other occasions slammed Pogba; first, he told the club to sell the Frenchman if they ever doubted his loyalty and also questioned his attitude after the club lost 1-0 to West Ham last season.
The club legend is however not doubting Pogba’s talent.
Scholes added, “There’s no doubt the lad has real quality; he’s shown in the World Cup that he can play.
“He’s such a strong lad, he’s such a fit lad. He can run, he has great technique as well, great ability. But he needs to use his brain a little bit more to become a top footballer.”
