There is a common problem facing everyone with the most sophisticated content management platform, WordPress, which does not save or edit the main PHP theme files, especially after successful WordPress 4.9. However, absolute and current solutions were tested and executed, based on prexblog research.
I've seen the same topics that have been created at different forums, looking for a cure, but the solution is now available.
This error also occurred when prexblog site was automatically upgraded to the latest version of WordPress 4.9. I as we dont use wordpress as it could not edit and save PHP theme files, but instead still come up with the same warning error after a few problem solving problems:
“Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.“
This happens every time he click the "Update" button to save his files. He was told to change the theme via FTP, but without the stress of using FTP, He later found an easy way to solve the problem.
How to resolve the issue
Go to your Plugins and install new plugin called “Theme editor“, this will allow you edit and save your themes PHP file codes comfortably without using the FTP as requested by the WordPress version. Additionally, you can also use “WP Editor” plugin to fix the issue.
