Serena Williams was beaten when she returned from motherhood breaks, while French tennis champion Jelena Ostapenko won the final result of the first ten points at the Abu Dhabi tournament on Saturday.
Williams, 36, appeared static and far from form just four months after the birth of the first child, and the 20-year-old Latvian Ostapenko won 6-2, 3-6, 10/5.
"The first game is still very hard after the break," Williams said. "I'm glad I'm here," she said. The first world number 1 to have given birth to a girl in September hopes to defend her Australian Open title when the tournament begins on January 15th.
What a pity to her,i think she can still defeat her opponent if she go on her training again, and she is going to defitnetly improve.
ReplyDeleteCongrate and am so happy for her, wishing her goodluck
