Making Phone Calls at Petrol Stations is a Criminal Offense – Police

Nigerian policemen have committed a criminal offense to make phone calls at gas stations, writes Punch.
This was reported by the Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, who said someone violating the rules could be arrested.
According to Punch, Moshood described the gas station as a public space where, due to found flammable oil derivatives, drivers must be careful.
Smoking and making phone calls at petrol stations are minor offenses, he said.
He said:
Making phone calls or smoking at filling stations is a criminal offence and the police, of course, could arrest anyone violating the safety rules put in place to safeguard life and property at the filling stations.

This my first time ever hearing about this statement,all I know before is that it is not good to make call at the petrol station, but that good to hear that, because prevention is better than cure.
