Ronaldinho, the former Middle of Brazil and FC Barcelona, won the World Cup, Champions League, Copa Libertadores and world player of the year.
His brother and agent, Assis, said on Tuesday that Ronaldinho, who will be 38 in March, has not played a competitive match since 2015 but also avoids ever stopping his career.
"It's almost done, we will do something really cool, cool, after the World Cup in Russia, probably in August," Assis said. Events, probably farewell games, will take place in Brazil, Europe and Asia, and may include a match with the team, Assis said.
Ronaldinho started his career at Gremio and played seven other clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Queretaro and Brazilian teams Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro and Fluminense. But in Barcelona between 2003 and 2008 he spent his glory. He has made some of the biggest shows he has ever seen in the Spanish club, perhaps the most unlucky in the 3-0 win against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in 2005.
He helped Catalunas join the 2006 Champions League in La Liga in 2005 and 2006 and won the Ballon d'Or 2005. Ronaldinho joined AC Milan in 2008 and won the Scudetto in 2011 before returning to Brazil and leading Atletico Minea the first title of the Copa Libertadores in 2013.
He has never reached the height where he has been in Barça for a long time. Still, there was an amazing presence, known for its unexpected passages, his wonderful free goals and free style that marked the way the Brazilians played the game. He has played 101 times in Brazil, achieving 35 goals, including a free-kick of 40 cards that removed England at the World Cup in 2002.
He is indeed a wizard in football,i love him so much and would have like to see him continue playing football.
