In the last few days, some sites used video ads that are automatically produced when a visitor visits a web site. Video ads are intrusive and lead to a bad user experience, but Google has added an option to disable or disable these videos for any site.
Google now announces a new Chrome version of version 64 for all platforms. This version comes with a very useful new feature. You can now disable all sites that use autoplay, so you will not need to manipulate audio control when you open the site anymore.
To disable a disturbing video ad, just right-click on the tab and select the "Mute Site" or "Mute Tab" item to stay silent forever.
Google has also added better protection against Meltdown and Chrome Spectrum attacks. The browser has disabled the SharedArrayBuffer feature to prevent further attacks.
The Windows version also benefits from HDR support. If you have a Windows 10 computer with the latest upgrade to the HDR and HDR compatible hardware update, you must be able to play HDR content in your browser, assuming you have found it.
