Bilal Fawaz, 29, was deported from Great Britain to Nigeria, where his parents emigrated when he was only 14, Daily Mail writes.
Fawaz, whose name was Kevin, was taken to Britain by his cousins, who promised his dad's coming soon.
Fawaz said he was "treated like a commodity" and escaped, and after life involving bad gangs and once shot 25 times, he became a boxer.
He has featured UK 6 times in boxing, he is currently ranked third best midfielder in England and was the 2012 ABA welterweight champion.
The Home Office refused to stay in the United Kingdom and declared a marriage with a blank British citizen.
According to the Daily Mail, he was arrested and taken to the Tinsley House processing center in Gatwick on November 29.
Fawaz says his mother is dead and has no idea where his father is.
He also says he is without citizenship because his parents were Lebanese immigrants in Nigeria and did not have their own Nigerian nationality. He said:
I have no other family to go back to, I don’t know anyone in Nigeria or anything about it – all I know is here.
Imagine how it feels to represent a country and then to have that country turn around and put you in what feels like a prison.
