All Progressives Congress (APC) said there is no problem with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who left the party.
National Secretary for Publicity, Bolaji Abdullahi, made it known because he reacted on Friday's development in Abuja.
Atiku, in a statement he personally signed on Friday, announced his resignation from the APC, citing the lack of good relations with party leadership, among other issues.
He explained that he joined APC in 2014 after some of his leaders appealed to him after the crisis of his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which led to his fiction.
He added that he would need time to think about his future, pointing out his policy of interest.
But Abdullah said APC leadership saw no official announcement of the alleged resignation, adding, however, that on the basis of what "we saw on social media, we can say that it is surprising that our policy of interest is, therefore, the former vice president thinks that For better served elsewhere, we have no problem with it, we can still make you happy for us, the task of building a political party is not the job of a daily marathon, and it will take many years and we will continue to improve our system to get a party we want to build.
He stressed that it took many years to build a strong political party, adding that the parties were made up of different people, some happy and some sorry.
Abdullahi added that everyone should make decisions at some point.
However, he said the APC was not worried about the rumor of the former vice president's departure until he saw the number of people who would go with him.
He argued that those who stay in the party would continue to work for him, build it and strengthen it in the interest of everyone.
