The statement was signed by the permanent secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Abubakar Magaji.

He said that Dambazau encouraged all Muslim and Nigerian believers in general to take the opportunity to pray for peace, progress, and unity of the nation.

He also called on all Nigerians to support the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari in their efforts to build a male state and wish a happy party to Eid-El-Maulud Nigeria.
