I sat by the hospital bed still praying and crying to God for my son's healing

Lord help me fight this battle

I can't do it myself

Daniella interrupted me as she opened the door and ran towards me

Mummy I'm sorry

Smart girl, I smiled

Its okay, I said and played with her hair

Where's your daddy?

He said he was going home

He left with that Aunty

Mummy who's she???

Her question got me confused

Must this girl notice everything?

I thought of what to say or do

She's the one taking care of your Daddy

There was a knock on the door

My mum slowly opened the door

She was eating plantain chips or whatever

Oh mum so you still have time to eat?

Listen Victoria I can't kill myself oh its midnight now and you still say I shouldn't eat

You'll just kill yourself for nothing if you don't eat

Daniella, do you want some?

No thanks granny I want to sleep

Ahh! Daniella your wahala is too much, why didn't you follow grandma home when she was going?

You should have stayed home with her, take your bath and even sleep there

Or Mum, would you still go back home so you could please take her along?

No oh I'll just be around the hospital

Said a quick prayer for her and before I knew it, she was already fast asleep

I thought of what happened during the day and I started crying.....
I was so weak to pray by this time

I couldn't sleep either and hungry at the same time....
