DEVELOPING YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

The key to building a successful friendship or relationship is by spending  time with the person involved.

You need to spend time with God to have a successful relationship with Him.

Spending time with God doesn't necessarily mean BEING ALONE WITH HIM, while this is also important, it is not the only way to spend time with God. It is not in changing what you do that you spend time with God, but in changing the attitude towards what you do. Everything you do can be spending time with God if He is invited to be a part of it and you stay aware of His presence. 

This may sound funny,😂but it's one of the ways I spend time with God doing other tasks. I love cooking(I haven't done that in a while though)😜

So, whenever I'm at it, I'll just say Holy Spirit....I'm about cooking rice now☺😘. I'm inviting you to do it with me. Then I'll remain calm. And the for rest of the cooking process, I just tell him what I'm about to add to the food. This gives so me much joy and yeah....goosebumps😃 knowing that He is with me.

When the Bible said PRAY WITHOUT CEASING, it didn't mean we shouldn't do anything at all but pray all day. It means conversing with God even while shopping, driving, working, cooking or performing any other everyday tasks.
