This is great news for all Infinix smartphone users because they will now say goodbye to some issues encountered while trying to install a new system update via OTA (Over The Air). Imagine a situation where a new version of your OS is available but your phone refuses to download or install it. That can be annoying honestly but all thanks to infinix mobility for bringing a timely solution to this by developing this app.

Infinix Mobility has unveiled an app called "Infinix Phone Update" to help users of its smartphones download OTA software updates faster to their phones without facing much hassles. The new Infinix phone update app delivers available software updates at faster download speeds. Infinix says that it also eliminates the problem of restarting updates and update-failed errors.

HOW IT WORKS

1. First of all, download Infinix Phone Update app
2. Install the downloaded APK file
3. Open the APK and wait for it to automatically load the Update (your smartphone may prompt you to authorise it to install apps from unknown sources; do so)
4. Once the app is installed, launch it
5. Click “Download” for the available OTA software upgrade. 

Note that your battery must be plugged in to a power source or be at above 60% charge to run the OTA update

6. Run the update after the download is completed

After that, you phone will restart and you should see the new version smiling at you. New updates brings new features and improvements as well as bug fixes.
