Oppo has started releasing a stable update to ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 for some of its devices. The update comes early, originally scheduled for April 14th. Some of the devices that received the update include the Oppo A91, Reno2 Z and Reno3 A.
According to reports, a stable update from ColorOS 11 to A91 is being set up in Indonesia, and for Reno2 Z in India. Oppo Reno3 A gets ColorOS 11 after an exclusive launch in Japan last year with ColorOS 7.2. According to users who received the update, it weighs about 3.07 GB.
The update is scheduled to hit the Reno2 in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, while the Philippines is next in line.
Starting April 14, Oppo will release the ColorOS 11 beta builds for the A5 (2020) and A9 (2020) in India and Indonesia and for the A73 5G in Australia, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.
How To Update?
The update is being rolled out in batches, and if you can’t wait for the update prompt to pop up on your smartphone, you can check for it manually by heading to its Settings > Software Updates menu and tap on the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then on “Official Version Application”, and then on “Apply now”.
