Telegram turned out to be more than just a Messenger app. It’s a great social media platform that implements more interesting features, like channels, bots, and media personalization. In that sense, Telegram even allows you to download videos and pictures from other social networking sites, including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Therefore, this article wants to learn how to transparently stream and/or download YouTube videos! As soon as you follow the simple instructions below, you can also free up space on your phone’s memory by uninstalling common downloads from YouTube that can take up a lot of storage space.
STEPS TO STREAM/DOWNLOAD VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE
- Launch Telegram. From the search icon at the top right corner of your screen, type "YouTube search" in the search space. There would be several results but make sure that you select the one that looks exactly like in the image description below.
- Once in, choose or type in "/start" to enable and get information on how the bot works. For example, you can type @vid top fastest cars. The bot automatically brings out the best suggestions that are most relevant (popularity) to your search.
- Select any preferred suggestions as it then provides a link for you to get that video. Now hold down the link and copy it.
- Return to your main chat tab and search "YouTube downloader" this time around.
- Select the one that resembles the image description here.
- Once in, paste your link in the type space and send. From there you can choose any format in which you want your video available.
The initial procedures for you to watch YouTube videos on telegram explained here can be even be achieved simpler. The next time you want to get a video again, just type in: @vid (followed by search details) directly in the YouTube Downloader chat and select your desired suggestion. In essence, you can now search for a video in any chat since you've already enabled the "YouTube Search" bot on your Telegram account by using the "@vid" function.
