Samsung announced the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G, the company’s new affordable smartphones. This is the latest inclusions to the company’s “A-series” lineup. Both devices are powered by Exynos 980 SoC and packed an FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED infinity displays with 20:9 aspect ratio respectively.

They also feature up to 8GB RAM, with an internal storage capacity of 128GB, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a memory card. They both run Android 10 with Samsung One UI 2.0 operating system supported by a Mali-G76 MP5 GPU. Both smartphones are similar in specs, but differ in some areas like the screen size, body dimension, the weight and also, in the camera department.

While the A51 5G comes with a 6.5-inch, the A71 5G sports a 6.7-inch display. The A51 5G has a body dimension of 73.6 x 158.9 x 8.7mm, with a weight of 187 grams, the A71 5G comes with a 162.6×75.5×8.1mm dimension and has a weight of 185 grams.

For the cameras, the A51 5G has a 48MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, 12MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front is a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The A71 5G on the other hand, features a 64MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, 12MP 123° ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor, 5MP macro camera. On the front of the device, is a 32MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

Both devices support connectivity options such as dual SIM, 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) VHT80 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C USB 3.1 Gen 1. They both packed a 4500mAh battery, but the A51 5G comes with 15W fast adaptive charging, while the A71 5G comes with 25W super fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G comes in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube Sliver and Prism Cube Blue while the A51 5G comes in Prism Cube Black, Prism Cube White and Prism Cube Pink colors. They both featured an In-display Fingerprint sensor. See Specs and features below.
