Xiaomi has begun releasing Android 10 updates for Mi A2 Lite device users. The update comes with version number 11.0.2.0.QLD MIX and has an Android security patch starting in February. The device was released on Android 8.1 (Oreo) but updated to Android 9.0 (Pie) in November 2018. 

Android 10 offers several additional personalities and security features for users, in addition to the dark theme, smart answer, focus mode, dedicated "Privacy section" and more. According to Xiaomi, this is a partial application, so it may take some time to reach everyone.

Also known as Redmi 6 Pro, the device was launched with up to 4GB RAM, and up to 64GB internal storage. It comes fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 processor, supported by a 4000mAh battery capacity. The device has two rear cameras, a 12MP rear camera with LED flash, with a 5MP, depth camera. On the front is a 5MP selfie snapper.

It has a body dimension of 149.3 x 71.7 x 8.8mm and weighs 178 grams. The phone is designed with a Glass front, aluminum back and aluminum frame. It is available in Black, Blue and Gold for Global users, and in Rose Gold and Red in China only.
