The Oppo A8 is the latest brand of the brand and also the latest addition to its A Series. Supposed 4G LTE comes with a 6.5-inch IPS display and 720 x 1600 pixel screen resolution Corning Gorilla 5 glass. Has a body size of 163.9 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 180 grams.

The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor, clocked at 2.3 GHz. It is coupled with 4GB of RAM, with an internal storage capacity of 128GB. The phone has an 8MP front selfie camera and a triple rear camera made up of a combination of 12MP + 8MP + 2MP with LED flash.

The Oppo A8 runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS, back by a Li-Po Non removable 4250mAh battery, with fast charging features. Sensors include Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint, Gyro and Proximity. The Oppo A8 smartphone is expected to be launched on Dec 30, 2019.

Design And Display

The Oppo A8 comes with a body dimension of 163.9 x 75.5 x 8.3mm and a weight of 180 grams. It is available in Black, Red and White colour options. The device features a 6.5-inch Drop-Notch display, with a resolution 720 x 1600 pixels.

It’s front camera is located in the notch, which the back houses a combination of triple rear camera and an LED Flash. The screen comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Storage And Performance

The phone comes powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor, clocked at a frequency of 2.3GHz. This is paired with 4GB of RAM, and supported by 128GB storage. The storage can also be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS operating system.

The Oppo A8 packs a 4250mAh battery that supports fast charging. The connectivity option available to the device includes Wi-Fi, Hot-Spot, Bluetooth, 3.5mm Audio Jack and GPS. Sensors include Accelerometer, Compass, Fingerprint, Gyro and Proximity.

Camera Review

The Oppo A8 sports a single front selfie camera, which has an 8MP located on the Notch and able of face detection, as well as face unlock. The back of the phone is packed with a combination of 12MP primary rear camera, supported by am 8GB secondary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.
