Samsung has announced its latest folding smartphone that supports the 5G network. The new smartphone will arrive after the launch of Samsung Galaxy Fold earlier this year. Known as the Samsung W20 5G, the phone comes with a similar system designed but equipped with the fastest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system and is supported by the 675 MHz Adreno 640 processor.

Dimensions 160.9 × 117.9 × 6.9 / 15.7-17.1 mm and weighing 276 grams, the phone is designed with a solid center structure and a white back. It has a dynamic QXGA + Infinity AMOLED 7.3-inch display with a ratio of 4.2: 3. In the folded position it has 4.6-inch HD + Super AMOLED coverage with a ratio of 21.: 9.

It has a Side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor, supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC and MST. For the sounds, the W20 5G foldable phone supports Stereo speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos. The phone packs a 4,235mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA).

The phone has a 10MP cover camera with f/2.2 aperture, 10MP Dual Pixel front-facing camera with a secondary 8MP depth sensor. On the back, is a 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash, 16MP Ultra Wide sensor and up to 10X digital zoom. Price of the Samsung W20 will be announced when the phone becomes available in China in December.
