LG has begun releasing a stable version of Android 10 for the G8 ThinQ smartphone in South Korea. That comes after a beta release last month. The update accompanying the G820N20c software release includes a November 2019 security patch and many other features.
It is unclear when the update will be rolled out to other region, but it should be available to all South Koreans in a few weeks. LG has also announced the Android 10 beta program for the V50 ThinQ in South Korea. With the G8 ThinQ getting a stable update, we should be seeing the same for the V50 ThinQ soon.
The LG G8 ThinQ was launched with a 6.1 inch display, with a screen resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. It ran running on Android 9.0 Pie operating system, powered by a Qualcomm SDM855 Snapdragon 855 processor. This was paired by a 6GB of RAM, with 128GB internal storage. The storage can further be expanded up to 1TB. The phone packed a Non-removable Li-Po 3500mAh battery, with Fast battery charging 21W (Quick Charge 3.0).
