Oppo K1 was announced in China last October, and in September we published specifications. Launch is scheduled for February 6, 2019 in India. The phone has a Water Drop display and is powered by a Snapdragon processor.

Oppo k1 is a smart mid-range smartphone with a built-in fingerprint scanner. There are different tank and color variants, all with a battery of 3600 mAh. The phone supports dual SIM, 4G Go back and the cost is less than RS. 20,000 in India, which is less than N102,164 in Nigeria.

Design and Display:

The phone features a Waterdrop notch front display with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 2.5D curved glass display. The display comes with a 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It is available in Van Gogh Blue and Mocha Red colours, and features an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.

Storage And Performance:

For the storage, Oppo k1 comes in two versions, one with a 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and the other higher variant with 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage. Both storage versions feature an expandable memory of up to 256GB using a micro-SD card.

The phone supports dual SIM and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Color OS 5.2. It is powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor, with an Adreno 512 graphic processing unit.

Camera and Connectivity:

For the cameras, the phone sports a rear dual horizontally placed cameras with LED flash. While the notch housed the front selfie shooter. Oppo k1 is built with a 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup at its rear, while the front sports a massive 25-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone supports dual SIM, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. The phone also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack plug.

Battery and Price:

The smartphone is powered by a battery capacity of 3600mAh. As per the price of the phone, the company says it will cost less than Rs. 20,000, which is less than N102,164 here in Nigeria.
