A few weeks ago we talked about Google's plan to merge Android Pay and Google Wallet into a single Google Pay service. Now it's official! Technology giant launched a new payment platform, otherwise called "G Pay", saying goodbye to Android Pay and Google Wallet.
Google Pay also includes new features and enhancements, including new home and ticket cards. The first lets you access the latest shopping, useful information and rewards and card cards to consolidate your credit and debit card, loyalty programs, offers and more,
Although Google Wallet has been renamed to Google Pay Send for rebranding, the California company has pointed out that G-pay continues to do the same.
Your card number is secure and remains confidential with Google Pay every time you use it to pay. When you sign up for a debit or credit card, simply choose Google Pay when you make a payment and leave the rest in your app.
GooglePay is now available for download on the Play Store for Android devices, supports NFC mobile payments, as well as payments for online shopping. Other Google products, such as Chrome and Assistant and Commerce sites, will also work with this payment platform in the future.
